  • Trey Prouty
Sales Manager at Darling's Ford VW Audi

My roots are in Dover-Foxcroft, where I was born and raised to love Ford. My parents owned a local Ford dealership, where at the age of twelve I started as a cleaner. They taught me every part of the dealership: I worked in parts, maintenance, recon, service and sales. In 2002, I moved to the big city of Bangor, where I continued to work in the automotive industry. I found a family at Darling's Ford in 2018 starting as Sales Manager.

My home is Hermon now where I live with my incredible wife Kim, our three boys and Shelby the black lab. Shelby was named after one of my favorite Ford vehicles, the Shelby Mustang. Outside the office, I love spending time with my family. I most enjoy cheering on the boys at their swimming competitions and family vacations to the beach. We are a family of beach bums and try to spend as much time as possible together soaking up the sun. When I do need some "me" time, I enjoy golfing and volunteering. I am a local Shriner and Mason.

Darling's has become my second family. At Darling's, the dealership is a place of positivity, filled with happy customers and employees. It is a sense of community caring every time I walk through the door.  My goal is to provide the best experience and knowledge to every customer. The best experience starts with positivity and caring. I love to make every vehicle purchase fun and exciting, and it's even better if I can make you laugh. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Harvard Austin
Senior Sales Representative at Darling's Ford VW Audi

The Ellsworth community has known me for a good portion of my life, as I was born and raised here. My work before Darling's included contracting work and eventually a job in the seafood industry. After 20 years of seafood I needed a change and found Darling's in 1995.

1995 was a good year as I found a passion for car sales at Darling's. My passion for cars grew along with my love for the company as I moved to Sales Manager in 2000 at the Ford location in Bangor. I missed my little city of Ellsworth and moved back as Sales Manager in 2014 at Darling's Automall. In 2016, I moved to Sales Manager at our Chevrolet dealership. I came back to my roots at Ford in 2019 where I became a Senior Sales Representative.

Ellsworth is the place I grew my life with my wonderful wife of 33 years. Our two kids have grown and we now have two cats to take care of. I've always been an advocate for giving back to my com-munity and have served on many organizations throughout the years. I am honored to have served on the Ellsworth Lions Club for over 20 years and the Shriners for over 30 years. When I do have time to relax I enjoy anything outside, including hunting, fishing, boating and camping at Donnells Pond.

Darling's for me is unlike any company in the area. Everyone is treated as family, whether customer or employee. To me this is the difference and why I'm proud to work here, we all deserve to be treat-ed well, just like family. Feel free to reach out to me anytime and you'll be a part of the family, if you aren't already.

Customer Care at Darling's Ford VW Audi

My story began in Virginia and Maryland but eventually brought me to Maine where I have been now for the last 12 years. My career has led me to many fields with one thing staying consistent, customer service. I have worked in bookkeeping, accounting, banking, the food service industry, administrative assistant, and even a Notary Public.

All of these experiences opened the door for me to become a Customer Care Representative at Darling's. When I am not caring for our customers here at Darling's, I am caring for my four children, three boys and one girl. We spend most of our time at home playing, running to different events, or cuddling up having a movie night.  When I have free time I can usually be found with friends shooting some pool, playing some cribbage, taking photos, and when the weather is warm enjoying the outdoors.

I am proud to call Darling's my second home. Everyone cares for each other at this company, just like family. In the same way, I enjoy sharing this sense of caring for my customers as I do my own family. Please feel free to contact me anytime.

  • Teresa Hallsworth
BDC Sales Representative at Darling's Ford VW Audi

I am a Mainer born and raised in Bangor. After graduating, I attended some college before working in the financial services industry.  I spent twenty-five years at a national investment firm, eventually becoming an Investment Associate. I also worked at L.L. Bean as a call center representative and Outdoor Discovery School team member. In October 2015, I began at Darling's as a BDC Sales Representative.

In 1999, I bought a beautiful home in Bangor, Maine. Being a military family, my parents raised a large and close-knit family of me and my five siblings, and settled here when my dad retired after proudly serving 20 years in the Air Force. I had a great dog Larry who loved riding in my Miata convertible wearing his Ray-Bans. If I had a dollar for everyone who asked to take a picture with him, I would be rich! Outside the office, I love the beach, biking, hiking, reading, listening to blues music and gardening. I am well known for finding a good bargain and flipping it!

I have spent years in customer service providing exemplary customer care. Darling's treats its employees and customers with this same level of kindness. We are all like a family; everyone cares about each other and goes out of their way to help. When they say, "You'll do better at Darling's", that is right! I certainly did! Feel free to reach out anytime.

I was a bit of a traveler before making roots in Maine. I grew up just north of Boston where I started working at 12 years old taking care of local gardens. At 18, I started in the workforce at Ames De-partment store in North Conway, New Hampshire. Since then I have worked many different jobs and lived in 24 different areas before settling in Maine. In 2002 I was promoted to General Manager were I am today.

In 1979, I married my wonderful wife Trudy. We have two grown up kids, fostered many teenage girls for 7 years, and currently have four awesome grandchildren. Amidst it all, I have given back to my community as a Mason, Shriner and volunteer for Junior Achievement. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family, woodworking and tending to my 19 flower gardens in the yard. My story began growing up in Old Town Maine until high school when my family moved to the big city of Hermon, Maine.  After graduating as a proud Hermon Hawk, I studied at EMCC and NMCC for my degree in Business Management. I got my first job at MBNA. I loved the culture at MBNA and its focus on community give back. I was trained in the banking and credit world and loved it. Here I grew and traveled all over the state in various positions from Manager to Senior Officer in 2009. Unfortunately, the economy at the time couldn't sustain the business and MBNA is no longer.  After 12 years of service, I left knowing what made a great company culture. I moved to Etna with the goal to search for a great community based company within one hour of home. In 2010, I found Darling's and began my new career as a salesman at the Value Center.  Four years later, I moved back to the numbers side of the industry as a Finance and Insurance Manager in Ellsworth. I became Sales Manager at Chevrolet in 2018 and then came closer to home as Sales Manager at the Value Center in 2019.

My world is filled with community and family. I have three incredible older siblings, three nephews two nieces and my mom and dad. One of my sisters and my brother followed in my father's footsteps serving our nation. While my father was an Army man for 20 years, my siblings joined the United States Air Force.  When I'm not with family I spend time giving back to my community, spending time with my dog, Oddie, golfing, BBQ's, camping with friends and riding my Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle. I'm a proud contributor and supporter of the United Way and regularly donate blood to the American Red Cross. When I need some downtime I'll ride down to High Tide in Bangor and enjoy the view of the river and sounds of the Darling's Waterfront Concerts.

My training in banking, lending and credit is what I want to give back to my customers. I am a super hero of sorts during the sales process and know how to work with banks and read ever confusing credit reports. Anything involving financing a large purchase can be scary and I pride myself on making sure the customer feels comfortable, gets the best terms for purchase and has an exceptional experience. I like to think Darling's is a bit like the show "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. Whether customer or employee everyone appreciates you and knows your name. I want to earn your business and know your name, if you have any scary numbers questions feel free to reach out; I'm here for you anytime.

I began with Darling's as a finance manager in 2004.  I love the company and they have become my second family! My tenure here has created long lasting relationships with our lenders based on trust and experience.  My job as a Finance Manager is to help each customer get the best possible out-come when applying for a vehicle loan.

No one should feel ever uncomfortable or undeserving to come in and see us. Finding the right fit for the customer AND the banks can sometimes be time consuming, but that's what we're here for.

I am a born and raised Mainer from Dexter, Maine. After graduation, I attended the University of Maine Presque Isle. My first job was for Dexter Shoe Company as a Foreman. I began in the car business after marrying a Hartley. I worked in Sales, Finance and as a Sales Manager here for 8 years until trying a different dealership. I worked at both Varney and Quirk until I needed a break from the business. I joined the Mortgage business for a while, but knew it was not right for me. I found a home at a local Ford dealership until I found my passion for used vehicles through a great friend. A dear friend of mine ran our own used car lot until 2017 when it was time for Darling's. I found my home at Darling's Used Vehicle Center as a Sales Representative in 2017.

My home is St. Albans now where I live with my wonderful life Florence. Between the two of us, we have six children. I am father of three children and four stepchildren. I love working for Darling's. My past has seen many dealerships and Darling's exceeded my expectations in how they treat people. Not only does Darling's make sure every customer has a great experience, but they also care for their employees. I've been treated with respect and support which makes it easy to treat my customers with the same respect and kindness. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Dustin Smelley
Sales Representative at Darling's Used Vehicle Center

I am sort of a Mainer raised in the big city of Ellsworth, Maine. I was born in Dunedin Florida and moved to Ellsworth, Maine at the age of two. I started in the workforce trying to figure out what I wanted to do. My job experiences varied from security, working at Hannaford, a technician and more until 2017 when I found my calling. I was encouraged by Darling's to try out sales and I am glad that I did. In 2017, I started as a Sales Representative for Darling's Used Vehicle Center.

My home is Old Town now where I try to live my best life spending time with friends and family as much as possible. I am a big fan of team Darling's and can usually be found volunteering for some of the Darling's sponsored sports teams, such as basketball, softball and kickball. When I do need some Dustin time, I love to hunt and fish all around the country. In fact, my office has a great conversation starter with a 30lb king salmon hanging on the wall caught at Lake Ontario in New York.

Yes, my name is Smelley pronounced smelly, but do not worry the name is no reflection on who I am. A great company trained me and I am proud to be a genuine not smelly Sales Representative because of it. Used vehicles are the best to sell because often times you are finding someone's dream vehicle or their first. Having the brand new best vehicle is not always what people want, but when you can find a vehicle that sparks love, then I am happy. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Joe Doucette
Sales Representative at Darling's Used Vehicle Center

I am a Mainer born and raised in Old Town. My work experience varied until I found my passion at Darling's in 2017. My work before Darling's included landscaping, mechanic work, paving and even a Manager at Dunkin Donuts.

My home is Levant now where I live with my 2-year-old Pitbull named Razor after my Polaris 4X4. When I am not at the dealership I love hanging with friends and family as much as possible. We can usually be found at summer cookouts or riding 4X4's around the state. I also love to camp and adventure once a year to a new camping spot for a week of friends and relaxation.

I always grew up with Chevy's and still have a love for the Chevy brand; I trust the brand because they stuck with me growing up. While I sell more than Chevrolets, I still understand that feeling of trust. It is not easy to buy a used vehicle; it requires trust in the vehicle and trust in the company. At Darling's I am proud to trust the brand because the company has supported me and proved to be kind and fair. It is this kindness, trust and fair treatment that I want to give back to my customers. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Mark St. Germain
Sales Representative at Darling's Used Vehicle Center

I am a proud Bangor Maine native, born and raised. After school, I started in the workforce in the restaurant industry. I stayed in the restaurant business for 28 years. Closer to the end of those years I attended New England School of Broadcasting, known today as New England School of Communications at Husson University, studying Broadcast Communications.  I put my degree to good use and continued working in the restaurant business alongside working at KISS 94.5 and WZON radio stations. I needed a change after what seemed like a lifetime of many jobs. When buying my last vehicle at Darling's an employee sold me not only a vehicle but also an idea of my next chapter. A week or so later I left my job and began at Darling's on May 4th 2018 as a Sales Representative.

The Big city of Bangor is still where I call home with my awesome companion Murphy. My dog, Murphy is what gets me out of bed every day. Murphy is my biggest love. Our favorite family activities include rocking out to 80's metal bands on road trips to our favorite hiking destinations. Murphy's favorite hiking spots include Chick Hill and areas in Monson. When I do need some me time I love to golf in Bangor and my favorite spot at the Samoset Resort in Rockland. Murphy usually takes time to nap dreaming of walks and dog treats while I am out golfing.

I am proud to work for Darling's Used Vehicle Center. The Darling's always saw me as a person when I needed a vehicle before working here. My credit was not great and they took a chance on me when no one else would for a vehicle purchase. That itself is a testament to why I work at Darling's. I was treated with respect every time I needed a vehicle, and it is this fair treatment that I strive to give back to my customers. Feel free to reach out anytime, because everyone deserves a vehicle no matter what your past may look like, it is the future that matters.

Finance & Sales Manager at Darling's Chevrolet

I have always been a Downeaster born and raised in Surry, Maine. After graduation, I attended The University of Maine, Orono studying business.  I began my career in the restaurant industry in the Ellsworth/Bar Harbor area. The opportunity for growth and stability led me to Morrison Chevrolet in late 2009 where I started as a sales representative.  After 8 years of building relationships with customers, learning the car business and sharpening my sales skills, I took a promotion to Business Manager in 2018. In 2019 my role was expanded as a dual Sales/Finance Manager role.

Darling's has been great for my personal and professional life as I met my wonderful wife by selling her a vehicle. We kept in touch after the sale and have not left each other's side since then. Our little family has grown since our marriage in 2016 to two cats, 8 chickens and 3 full fish tanks.  I most en-joy my time outside the office hanging with the wifey. We love traveling to warm places, like the Caribbean, date nights, beach days at Newburry Neck and restaurant hopping.

I love my job and am proud to give back to my customers each day. It is never about the sale at Dar-ling's it is about the customer. My job is more than just the numbers; it is about making sure every customer leaves knowing they are valued from day one.

  • Sandy Salsbury
Finance Business Manager at Darling's Chevrolet

For over forty-five years, I have worked, volunteered raised a family and more in the Ellsworth community.  Thirty-two of these years were in the banking industry from 1976 - 2008 starting out as a teller.  Working as a teller was just the beginning as I moved to loans and ended as the VP of Human Resources.  My skills as a banker serviced me well when I started with Morrison's Chevrolet in 2011 as receptionist and eventual Finance Manager at Darling's Chevrolet.

For 40 of those years and counting I have had my amazing husband by my side. We have become a family of two kids, two grand kids, a cat named Crawford, three grand cats and three grand dogs. I have also volunteered for many community organizations, most proudly 17 years as an Ellsworth Lioness. Out of the office, I enjoy me time at Bar Harbor Golf Course and family time at our camp on Beach Hill Pond.

Darling's has been caring for its community since the beginning. It is never about a vehicle, but a person whether an employee or customer. I am proud to work every day giving back to the Ells-worth community, because Darling's cares for me. Feel free to reach out anytime.

They seemed to like me at Morrison's and promoted me to a Sales Representative in 1992. In 2004, Chevrolet named me as one of the top sales representative with 406 happy customers. Darling's Auto Group took the Morrison's name 2012 and I could not be hap-pier. Since then I have met many customers, giving me great pride with every sale.

My pride extends to my community and family in my home of Ellsworth. I love giving back to my community as a local Shriner, Mason and former Board Chamber member. I am lucky enough to have my wonderful wife, Cindy, a Bengal cat named Arrow, a grown son, Chris, and daughter, Steph-anie, and two granddaughters, Kaylie and Paisley who have given me many new adventures. My son an Air Force Staff Sargent has led me on many visits around the world, including Italy. When I am not adventuring with my family, I am at my second home at the Golf Course, my favorite being Bar Harbor Golf Course. My Darling's adventure is still one of my favorite though.

Darling's does the little things for its employees and customers. The little things are the things people seem to miss these days it is nice to know there are still people that remember these things. In our world of hustle and bustle Darling's Auto, still stops to remember the small details of caring and community pride that bring people together. In the end, the little things will lead to big things, and big changes in people's lives. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

BDC Sales Team Leader at Darling's Ellsworth

I love providing the best customer experience to my customers. I gained a wealth of knowledge in the customer care field. My work within the up and coming internet department gave me great skills at online customer care. Eventually this experience led me becoming an online Customer Care Representative within the auto industry.

After thirteen years in this industry I found the perfect job closer to home in customer care at Darling's in Ellsworth. When I'm not focused on the best customer experience I enjoy my time with my wonderful husband. We enjoy the little things like relaxing at home, motorcycling, walking or hiking.

  • Nick Grant
    Parts Adviser at Darling's Chevrolet

Engines and parts have always been a lifelong love. I grew up in Columbia Falls, Maine where I learned the engine world at Hancock County Technical School, studying Automotive Technology. Since then I have worked in Parts for various businesses in the Ellsworth area. I am lucky to have joined Darling's in 2017 putting my parts knowledge to good use with the great team at Chevy.

My world turned upside down in the best way in September of 2017 when my wife had twins! My wife Stacey and I could not be happier to have Landen and Elizabeth in our lives, but are still waiting to catch up on some sleep. We live in Sullivan near Flanders pond and can often be found staying close to home with the family. When I do have some free time I'm most often found working on vehicles in the garage or making our yard look nice.  Before the kids, I also enjoyed ATVing. Perhaps someday I will get back on the ATV trails.

People that care is not heard very often in the Auto Industry. At Darling's I have found the most caring people, I have ever met. It is a bit cheesy, but at Darling's they know you by name, and that is special. My job is to help customers put their vehicles back together as soon as possible, with the correct parts. If I do not already know you by name feel free to give me a call and talk parts.

I am a born and raised Mainer from the Gardiner area. After graduating, I attended The University of Maine studying business. I went on to start my sales career at Circuit City in Bangor and found my calling. I loved to provide the best customer experience to everyone and moved to vehicle sales in 2000 in the Augusta area. I worked for nine years at various dealerships in both Sales and Finance. I found my home in 2009 as Finance Manager for Darling's Augusta. My experience led me to become Sales Manager and eventual General Manager.

I am still proud to call the Gardiner area home with my wonderful wife and kids.  I have two kids a son named Jack and a daughter named Lauren. Our life is hectic, but we have one great team. We are a sports family with multiple sports and coaching. My wife, Sarah is a nurse at Maine General and helps balance our world between games throughout the state and my coaching schedule. Sales Manager at Darling's Augusta

I am a born and raised Mainer originally from Phillips, Maine. I followed my father's footsteps and went to school at EMTC for Diesel and Hydraulics.  I quickly found this wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and switched to business. Business wasn't in the cards either and I went into the Navy. After my time here, I began my career in the car business working at Linnehans Auto in Ellsworth as a salesman. I moved from Linehans to Town Auto and caught the attention of the Manager at Darling's. He convinced me to become a part of the Darling's family in 2002. Here I stayed until needing a change in 2010 where I worked for Xerox as a Salesman. The printer business wasn't the same as Darling's and so I came back in 2011 to Darling's Augusta as a salesman. From 2012 to 2015 they trusted me as a Finance Manager and eventual sales Manager in 2015 where I am today.

Now my home is in Monmouth where I live with my 4 fur children. I also have two awesome kiddos, Nichole and Tyson. My dogs are probably one of my best friends, I have one boxer/lab mix and the other three are long haired dachshunds. We enjoy as much time on our Pontoon boat in the summer, frequenting Cobbossee Lake and winters ice fishing. We also enjoy snuggling and watching local racing. I also love to support my community; one of my favorite volunteer opportunities is the yearly Giving Tree at the Augusta Children's Center.

Honestly, Darling's is an amazing company and I am glad they took a chance on me. I LOVE the incredible team I work with every day. It's this team that make the difference, we are a team of community drive "family" dedicated to providing the BEST customer experience to everyone that walks through the door. Yes, it is corny, but it is true that Darling's is unlike any other dealership because they care for everyone. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

    Finance Manager at Darling's Augusta

I am a Mainer born and raised in Sydney. Dealerships were a part of growing up, as my father was a Bureau of Motor Vehicles Investigator. After graduating, I studied Business at Thomas College at night while working my days as a Sales Representative for some local dealerships.  I was 19 at the time when I would admire the Finance Manager at the dealership. I watched, as customers were able to leave with their dream vehicle, because the Finance Manager worked for them. It was then that I found my dream job. At 19, I knew I needed more experience and kept working towards my business degrees until I was ready for Finance Manager. In that time, I worked in Real Estate with my father, the restaurant industry, a Buyer at Pine State Trading and sold vegetable seeds for Johnny's Seeds. After about 10 years, I it was time to have one job instead of three. I took the advice of my father to work at one of the best dealerships in the state and applied to Darling's. After 10 years, I landed my dream job as Finance Manager in 2016.

My home is Waterville now and soon to be Oakland with my incredible family. My wife and I have two awesome kiddo. Our son, Parker, is obsessed with Monster Trucks and Dinosaurs while our daughter, Peyton, loves to dance. We also have a house filled with dogs. Our dogs include an Airedale Terrier named Oscar, an Australian Shepard Golden Doodle named Luca and a Shih Tzu named Millie. Outside the office, I enjoy gym time with my wife and outdoor adventuring with my family. We love to be outside and 4 wheel, dune buggy, hang out at the pool and more.

My father was right, Darling's is the absolute best for their customers and their employees. My team is one big family whose goal is to help people. Buying a car should be a fun and enjoyable experience. It is my goal to help customers dream come true. I take such pride in working with the banks to give people a chance. No one has perfect credit, and no matter what the score says it's my goal to find a way. Let me find a way for your, feel free to reach out to me anytime.

    Customer Care at Darling's Augusta

I am a born and raised Mainer originally from the Augusta area.  After graduating, I attended cosmetology school and became a hairdresser. Needing a change of scenery, I worked for a local wood shop where I traveled all around the country. Eventually I needed a break from travel life and found my home at Darling's with a more steady schedule and no traveling!

My home is Boothbay Harbor now where I live with my adorable fur babies. I have two baby pit bull mix dogs. When I am not spending time with my fur babies I am usually found fishing. I ice fish and smelt in the winter and fish in the summer. My favorite fishing spot is found on the Sheepscot River. I also love hanging out with friends at The Bench in Gardiner, Maine.

The atmosphere of Darling's is unlike any organization I have worked with before. Everyone cares, and that makes for a remarkable place to work. Darling's goes above and beyond for its community. Our community of customers is treated with respect and caring for the best deal. In the end it is more than a vehicle purchase, it is about family. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

    Receptionist at Darling's Augusta

I was born in Livermore Falls, Maine and adventured out of the state after graduation. My first ad-venture led me to New Hampshire where I moved to become a nanny. I moved again to Massachu-setts to work at a horse farm for my next great adventure. My adventures led me back to Maine where I worked as a shift leader for a local group home. A need for a job closer to home with better hours led me to Darling's in 2017 as a receptionist.

My home is now Winthrop where I enjoy my time with my adorable son. Life is hectic with a son so I take my me time at the gym. However, my favorite place to be is home where I find adventure and relaxation with books when I am not spending time with my kiddo. My book love started with the Terry Goodkind novels and continue today with many great adventure novels.

I've worked at many different types of organizations and am glad I found my home at Darling's. The team continues to support me and care for me daily. Life can get hectic and it's nice to know I have a caring place like Darling's behind me. The same care is what I am proud to provide to our customers each day. Team Service Manager at Darling's Augusta

I am a native Mainer, growing up in the Bath area. My journey took me to gain experience in many different industries before joining the team at Darling's in 2019. I have worked in Real Estate, as a Sales Manager at Pepsi, as a Manager at Shaw's Supermarket and more. Amidst it all, I attended New England Bible College graduating with my Ministry Degree. My experience as a Progressive Claims agent, and insurance adjuster gave me the most experience in my current Team Service Manager role at Darling's Augusta Body Shop. Prior to starting at Darling's I was an independent insurance adjuster, meaning travel across the state daily. It was time to be closer to work. I was encouraged by a Darling's employee to apply as he felt I was the right fit for the body shop.

Today my home is Sydney where I live with my wonderful husband Lewis and our 2 cats, Bob and Ginny. I am also proud step mom to two fantastic women. Outside the body shop, I love to give back to my community as much as possible. I am a proud supporter of James Place Recovery Housing in Augusta and current board member. Besides James Place I try and volunteer as much as possible, such as the Trek Across Maine and the Travis Mills Foundation. When I am not volunteering, I enjoy my time with family and adventuring the state. I love hiking Katahdin, hiking the tall peaks of Maine, cycling, running, working out, kayaking and more.

Giving back to the community is a huge part of my life and one of the reasons I am most proud of my work at Darling's. Darling's believes at its core in making a difference in the community. It is never about profit, it is about helping people. This makes it so worthwhile to me because every day I feel supported in knowing my work is truly giving back to my community. I take great pride in my experience with insurance, because in a body shop this knowledge is so critical in providing the best customer experience. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Pam Blanchard
Assistant General Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

Hello, I am Mainer at heart, hardworking, passionate and driven to give back to my community. I was born in Bar Harbor and grew up in Ellsworth, Maine with strong ties to the fishing industry. My father is a 50 year lobster fisherman and boat builder. I love this community and everything it represents, I stayed in this area my whole life and proudly began my career at Darling's Automall in January of 1995 as Business Manager. In this position my customers were everything and so I received Finance and Insurance training from Universal Underwriters Group in September of the same year.

I continued to provide a first-class customer experience based on building a solid reputation with many banks, credit unions and finance companies which allowed me to advocate for my customers. My passion grew and I was promoted to General Sales Manager in 2014. Two years later in January of 2016 I was promoted again to Assistant General Manager. In this position I'm continuing my education to better serve my customers taking part in a 4 day comprehensive Cardone Training Seminar and am enrolled in the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy. Both of these trainings will allow me to become better educated within all aspects of the dealership to better serve my customers, and be on top of industry trends. It's so important for me to put my best foot forward to give back to my community.

On my off time home is my happy place. My home includes my husband, Todd, two horses and two dogs.  My "big dogs" aka my horses Diesel and Sassy are happy as can be in the pasture.  The dogs, Josie and Shelby, enjoy our time in the Moosehead Lake Region and Toddy Pond where we camp, boat and ride our bikes. I am also a proud mom to two grown children and "Mimi" to two beautiful grandbabies who are 3 and 1 years old!

Working for Darling's I've found the difference is always making the customer top priority, treating them how I would want to be treated. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime because YOU are #1 in my book!

General Sales Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a man who always has the glass half full and wakes up most days with a smile. I grew up in Ellsworth, Maine. After graduating like every great young kid I wanted to become a radio personality.

The life of a radio man wasn't what my future held as I began my next journey as a salesman for Morrison's Chevrolet in 1993. I flourished at Morrison's moving up to an F&I Manager and ultimately a sales manger in 2014. I loved my work and my life, but I was missing something in my world. I met my amazing wife, Camille, in 2008 and married her in 2010, I couldn't let this one get away. We've grown our lives together and I couldn't be happier. My hard work paid off and was promoted to General Sales Manager at Darling's Auto Mall in 2019.

At home we have 3 dogs, Max, Lexi, and Beatrice. Together we relax at home or on the boat at Beech Hill Pond. Camille and I also enjoy site seeing around the area while riding our motorcycles. Outside home and work life I take great pride in my community serving as a local Shriner since 1996 and and active mason for Lygonea Lodge #40 since 1994. I'm proud to have become a Senior Decon in the Masons.

Every morning I'm lucky enough to walk into work with a smile because I love my job.  Darling's takes great care of our employees and most importantly our customers. This makes it easy to come into work knowing I am making a difference, the Darling's difference. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Tom Wheeler
Sales Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

The beauty of Downeast Maine has drawn my family for generations. I grew up in East Hampton, CT and moved with my family to Hancock, Maine in 1974.  My grandfather and my family would vacation here, so it was only fitting for my grandfather to settle here after his retirement from GM. My family followed in the move and I became an official Mainer. I hiked, fished swam, ran and explored the area and promised myself never to leave. I went to school for electronics at EMCC and soon found the closest job in this field was in New Hampshire. I made the decision to keep to my promise and stay local. I worked various jobs from Bartender to Banker and eventually found I job I loved with Cars at Morrison's Chevrolet in 1987.  It seemed only fitting to take the job with my love of cars and inspiration from a grandfather at GM and a father with a passion for car shows. I worked just about every job there from rental to becoming Sales Manager in 1999.

In 2017 I proudly moved from my time at Chevy to Sales Manager at Darling's Automall.  Amidst all of this I found my beautiful wife, a local girl all grown up. Lona and I were married and now have an awesome son named Lucas. We built our dream home on Donnell's Pond in Franklin and live an adventurous and wonderful Downeast life. Living on the water we love spending time exploring wether hiking, fishing, kayaking, biking or running. When I'm not at home I give back to this community as much as possible. I remember growing up and seeing local businessmen caring for the community by volunteering and coaching and so at 19 I started to do the same. I started by coaching soccer at the YMCA. Today I'm on countless committees and local boards doing as much as I can to support the community. Some of my favorite involvement is with the Chamber Board on the Finance and Executive Committee, The Board of Acadia Fire, The Chef's Gala Committee and the Schoodic Scramble Committee which are both fundraisers for Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. With what time is left in my world I enjoy relaxing with fitness including running, tennis, skiing and golf. In my younger years I proudly ran the Boston Marathon and the Run to Home Base in Boston.

Everything I do at home or at the office is to better the world around me. I'm proud of this community and want to see it flourish for generations. Darling's community giveback fits so well with this and I'm proud to work here. I know the work I do everyday helps my friends and neighbors, and for that I am grateful. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything.

  • Ed Huntley
Service Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

I am an East Machias born and raised Downeaster. I always had a passion for automative and trained at Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute for Automotive Technology in Presque Isle, Maine. I was lucky enough to find a job close to home as an Automotive Tech at Morrison's Chevrolet in Ellsworth. That was about 30 years ago and the name on the door may be Darling's now, but the roots remain the same.  I spent about 11 years as a tech and was asked to grow as Shop Foreman and eventually Service Manager.

I take great pride in giving back to my community to ensure the next generation is successful. In my career, I've been on many vocational advisory boards for High Schools and Colleges in Maine and even New Hampshire, including EMCC. I do this to be sure vocational training is kept in schools and to train those that come after me correctly to be successful in their careers.

Outside the vocational world, I also enjoy my work with the Lion's Club of Ellsworth and The Anah Temple Shriners of Bangor. I've been involved in both organizations for about 20 years now. For both organizations, it is giving back to the community and the kids that make it all worth it.

My wife, Terri and I grew our lives together about 25 years ago. We have a beautiful daughter, Victoria who has grown into a smart hardworking young woman. She now works in the big city of Portland as a Personal Trainer, College Volleyball Coach and Dog Walker. She's following her passion for sports after graduating from St. Josephs's College and I could not be more proud.

I take great pride in the people I work with every day, as everyone is special and deserves to be treated as so. Beyond the techs and the vehicles my job is about the people that walk in the door everyday. Everyone who walks in deserves to be respected and heard, that is my goal.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime and I will do everything I can to help you with your vehicle.

Finance Business Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a finance man by profession and a creative outside the office. My story begins in Sedgwick, Maine where I was born and raised. After graduating I studied business administration and investment services at New England College of Business and the University of Maine. My degree led me to a job as a teller in 2006 at Bangor Savings Bank and leaving in 2012 as part of the wealth management group. I needed a new adventure and started at Darling's Chevrolet shortly after as a salesman. Two and a half years later I started as a finance manager and haven't looked back.

My world outside the office is filled with creativity, love and adventure. My wife, Victoria, and I enjoy adventuring with our two children at the beach on Patten Pond. My wife has gotten me into hunting and fishing, something I never thought I would enjoy.  I've always had a creative side enjoying music, art, and freelancing as a web guy. My love for music is proudly shared as the music director for Eggemoggin Baptist Church. Something I most enjoy is helping others, a quality that fits well with my job.

  • Steve Steiner
Finance Business Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

As the saying goes, I am a transplant to Maine. I was born and raised in Doylestown, Ohio. I fell in love with golf at 14 years old. I continued playing throughout my teenage years and eventually decided to make it a full time part of my life. I became the General Manager of a Golf Club in Ohio, but I wanted a little more golf in my world. My journey led me to Florida to attend the Golf Academy of America to earn an Associate degree in Golf Complex Operations. I have since obtained a Bachelor's of Business Management degree. Though sunny Florida was a great place to golf, a job opened up in Bangor, Maine as a Golf Professional for The Penobscot Valley Country Club. I worked as their Golf Pro until 2014. Maine became my home, but I needed more. I found what I was looking for when I became an F&I Manager at Darling's.

I love my job and the ability to help my customers. My office is not always fun or easy for the customer, as it is what I like to call "the necessary paperwork"  portion of the the sales process. It can be overwhelming to make decisions about warranties, financing, contracts, and insurance. I ensure this part of the process is completed accurately and in a timely manner so the customer can leave knowing their vehicle will be protected for its lifetime.

My time at work is very fulfilling, but outside the office, I enjoy my time with my beautiful wife, Sara. We met in 2012 online and knew we wanted to spend our lives together pretty quickly, marrying in 2014. We enjoy traveling and being foodies, making sure to try new restaurants everywhere we go. Locally, we frequent Blaze in Bangor. We also enjoy time spent at a family camp on Swan Lake where we do nothing but relax, soak up the sun and admire the beauty of Maine.

My job is customer-oriented and that brings everything into focus for me. Numbers aren't always easy for people, but I do whatever possible to ensure a comfortable experience. Darling's, as a company, cares for everyone from upper management to those who plow the lots, and that's important to me. It's this love and care that I want to provide my customers. If you ever have questions involving numbers, don't hesitate to give me shout!

  • Alex Giosia
Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

Hey, I'm Alex and I was born a Jersey boy. I was born in New Jersey until about 8 years old when my family followed my grandmother and moved to Orland, Maine. I grew up a Mainer playing sports for Bucksport High School and spending time with my friends.

After school, I worked various grunt work jobs and needed something a little different.

I always liked learning about sales so I joined the Darling's team in 2015.

Today I'm still in Orland living in the old house my grandmother first bought when she moved to Maine, not far from my family.  At work I'm proud to be certified in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, GMC and Buick. The more I can learn about these vehicles the better I can find the vehicle that works best for the customer. My goal is to find the best vehicle for my customers and hopefully create a lifelong friendship along the way.

Outside the office, I am currently enrolled in SNHU for my online business degree. When I do have free time I love watching or playing sports and music.

While I don't play as often as I used to I love shooting hoops with my friends. Though I'm a fan of the Patriots I will admit to being a Phillies fan. My friends and I enjoy watching games and catching up at Season's and Hero's in Bangor. I also love music and concerts. One of my more recent favorites is seeing Dropkick Murphys in Bangor, Maine. Whatever life brings me it's my Ram that drives me with a powerful engine and great interior, perfect for a Maine winter. Besides that it's coffee and red bull that keeps me going, I can't go a day without caffeine!

I take great pride in wanting to help someone out, something we all share at Darling's. The Darling's go out of their way to help the customer and their employees, not because they have to but because they care. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything, I'm here to help.

  • Buddy Norwood
Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I grew up near the Ocean in Trenton, Maine with mechanics and automotive in my blood. At the age of ten my father let me work in his mechanic shop, and before you knew it I had my own car to work on at about fourteen. That car is my 1989 Chevrolet Camaro, a dream car to fix up and be mine. Automotive stayed in my blood and I went to vocational school for Automotive Tech.

Since then I've worked at various shops around the Bar Harbor area, bought and sold lobsters and even did some lobstering myself to help pay for my wedding. My wife, Sarah and I were married, had our first child and I started at Darling's all around the same period. Our family grew and Darling's was the perfect fit for my new little family. My family is my world, especially my little girl, Aubree Jean. Most of my time is spent with them,  in particular Sunday's as we call it our Family Day. When I do have some me time my favorite hobby is drag racing my Camaro, after all these years I still have it! We've won a few Car Shows but I'd rather be racing in Winterport on a beautiful Maine summer day.

After years of working on many different types of vehicles I'm happy to work at Darling's with my most trusted vehicle brand, GM. I've had around ten GM vehicles and have been so impressed with GM's quality and craftsmanship.  Everyday it is heartwarming to match a vehicle to the perfect owner. I feel so proud when I hear a customer's story. I look forward to listening to your story to find the perfect vehicle. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Gary Seavey
Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I'm a bit of an oddball here at the dealership. I didn't grow up with a passion to drive or a love for everything car related. I am driven to help people, it's who I've always been. I grew up in the MDI area, specifically Tremont in the village of Sea Cove. During summer vacations my dad got me a job at Jackson Laboratory. After graduation I worked full time until a job as Material Supervisor became available. I had a great job, grew my family and stayed for 28 years. In 2013 I decided to find my next adventure.

My wonderful daughter let me work with her for a bit at her business. She makes handcrafted handbags from sailing materials, float rope in particular. She let me run the store in Bar Harbor. I was quite the salesman at selling purses and clutches, but I still needed something different. My wife had always joked that I could be a good car salesman. She was right and I started at Darling's in 2015.

My life so far has had many adventures, three of those adventures are my proudest. My two daughters, my son and my grandson are the best part of my world. My world outside of the office revolves around my sons love of baseball and my beautiful wife. My son, Jack plays baseball year-round and I do my best to catch every game! When we are not cheering on Jack my wife and I enjoy our cruises to the Eastern Caribbean and enjoying a local meal at our favorite Bar Harbor Restaurants, Kebo Golf Club or Rosalies Pizza. I also enjoy golfing in the summer, traveling, playing with my Pug Lubu and my lab puppy named Cruz.

I absolutely love what I do because it is so different everyday. I take great pride in helping people, it's never about the bottom line but being able to take care of people. I remember how I felt when I bought my vehicles from Darling's. It is this exceptional experience that I want to give to every customer, because we all deserve to be taken care of. I am certified in all the vehicles I sell and do my best to be on top of the technical questions to assure the answer to every vehicle question.

I want to help everyone find a vehicle wether it's your first or fifth vehicle. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime and I would be happy to find the right vehicle to fit your life.

  • Joel Mitchell
    Sales Representative Darling's Auto Mall

I am a native Mainer from Hancock County. After graduation, I started in the workforce and had a career filled with many great experiences. Some of my experiences included working at Subway, Jackson Labs, Kids Peace, the YMCA, and operating my own lawn care business.

One of my favorite jobs was from 2004 to 2008 where I worked at Morrison's Chevrolet, now Darling's Chevrolet. I met some incredibly genuine people at Chevy and was sad to leave them behind in 2008. The car business was not great in 2008 and so I needed a new life chapter. My wife and I moved to Florida in 2011, where I worked in the furniture business.

As time passed, I missed the genuine people of Maine and moved back to Ellsworth in 2019. I reconnected with old friends from Morrison's who encouraged me to get the team back together and work with them again at Darling's. It feels like no time has passed since the team came back together at Darling's Auto Mall.

My home is Ellsworth, where I live with my wonderful wife Cori and our two girls Cami and Maci. Our home also includes a chocolate lab named Ziva and a rabbit named Thor. At home, I love watching sports and spending time with family and friends at our backyard bonfires and BBQs!

I'm a big fan of giving back to my community and am looking forward to proudly supporting youth sports, youth literacy and cancer research in Ellsworth. When I do need some time to relax, I most enjoy my time on the golf course.

I am proud to work for Darling's because they truly care. My job is not about numbers or vehicles, but about people. It is about finding the RIGHT vehicle for the customer. I enjoy taking care of my customers. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

Hi, I'm Mike and I am a man of the sea. I grew up in Syracuse, New York. In 1976 I found the sea and proudly joined the United States Navy. For 20 years the navy brought me near and far stationed in Winter Harbor, ME, Scotland, England, Korea and Massachusetts. I proudly retired as a Chief on board the USS Constitution in Boston Harbor.  My wife and I settled in her home town of Franklin, ME and I began my second career at Darling's.

My wife Beverly and I have been together for 38 wonderful years.  We have 3 amazing children Andrew, Philip and Danielle. They're all grown up now and have given us several amazing grandkids. Amidst all of this we have 3 dogs, and 2 birds. The dogs are named Apollo, Toby and Sitka.

My family and I enjoy spending time together with our outdoor lifestyle around our little pond. At our pond we boat, swim, fish, ATV. Last summer I even tried Stand Up Paddle boarding! When we aren't at the pond I grab my Jeep and head to my favorite spot at Schoodic Point.

Jeep has to be my favorite brand I sell because it fits my outdoor lifestyle, along with many other Mainers. When we can't get outside I can be found rocking out on my guitar to good old rock songs.  Currently I am also a proud supporter of Veterans as the Board of Director for the Franklin Veteran's Club.

I've been with Darlings for 19 years and counting!  I wake up each morning knowing this company is there to support me and my community, it's unlike any other dealership. It's a more personal way of doing business and I'm proud to represent such a local company.

Feel free to call me anytime to chat vehicles or share a good Jeep story!

Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a proud Mainer born and raised in Skowhegan. After falling in love with my one and only Sheri at Husson University, we started our lives together in the Bangor area. Sheri worked as an Administrative Assistant for the ROTC at the University of Maine.  While I started working at North Country Management Group DBA Burger King, beginning as a restaurant manager and eventually Director of Operations for eight Burger Kings in Maine. These locations included Caribou, Presque Isle, Houlton, Calais, Ellsworth, Rockland, Bangor and Orono, Maine. During this time we raised two incredible children, Christopher and Brittany. Christopher now works as an Assistant Chief Engineer at NASA and Brittany is Critical Care Nurse at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Needless to say, we're incredibly proud of our kiddos! After 35 years working for Burger King I decided to finally land my dream job as a car salesman. I started on Oct, 12th 2014 and have never looked back!

I truly love this company and my customers. The Darling's organization is like no other. The Darling's family go out of their way to make every employee feel appreciated starting day one.  This appreciation shines through to the customers.

My customers are my favorite part of this job. I'm proud to say my customers have given me positive reviews for three years and growing on dealerrater.com. This means I am a certified employee with dealer rater with a 100% satisfaction rate!! I LOVE my customers and believe each person has their own story to share. The best part of my job is being able to listen to each customers story to find the perfect vehicle to continue their life story.

Outside the dealership my life story revolves around my family.  My wife and I enjoy our tradition of a two mile walk each day. We also continue to share our love of traveling with various cruises since the early 1980's, always to somewhere warm!

When I'm not spending time with my family I enjoy giving back to my community. I am a proud Extraordinaire Minister for twenty eight years at St. Paul the Apostle Parish.  In my career I've had the pleasure of also working on various school, parish and chamber boards. Most importantly though is my support for cancer research, something most everyone can relate to.

Please feel free to reach out to me anytime and I look forward to sharing your story!

Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I'm a born downeaster from East Machias, Maine. I grew up with a competitive spirit and went to college at the University of Maine for Physical Education and Health. After graduating I wanted to explore and found a job as a Stock Broker in Atlanta, Georgia.  After a few years of city life I wanted to be back near home and became a financial planner in Portland, Maine. This was still a little too far from home and eventually moved back downeast as a Phys Ed teacher in Jonesport as well as a real estate agent. In 2011 I needed a change and was encouraged to put my competitive nature to good use as a Sales Representative at Darling's. I started in 2011 and have loved every minute of it since then.

Outside of the dealership my world revolves around my family and outdoors. My wonderful wife Kara and I were married in 2009 and now have two children, a boy and a girl. We also have two furry family members our little puggles, Buddy and Brownie. Family time is our favorite, whether fishing, kayaking, traveling or cheering on the Boston Red Sox. Our camp on Holbrook Pond is where some of our favorite family memories are made every year.

Every day at the dealership is different and this is why I love it here. The management cares and helps grow and train me and my fellow coworkers. It's this training that allows me to give the best experience to my customers.  It's more than a vehicle sale, it's about the customer finding something to keep their story going. I most enjoy the happiness found in first-time car buyers or finding a vehicle that a customer didn't think was even possible. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a proud Mainer from up north as they say. I was raised in Lincoln, Maine and went to school for nursing at UMFK. Afterwords I found my niche in customer service at GM Pollack & Sons Jewelers. I've always enjoyed doing good for the people around me taking great pride in helping people. I moved to Ellsworth and continued my customer service as a representative at AT&T for six years. I had always heard of the great reputation of Darling's and took the opportunity to apply when I had the chance in 2018.

Outside the dealership, I enjoy exploring and relaxing. I try and treat myself for spa days to recharge for my customers. I also love to travel wherever it is warm! Some of my favorite warmer destinations include Texas, New Orleans, Florida or Puerto Rico.

I love the reputation of Darling's as a genuine dealership. Darling's takes great pride in taking care of their customers. This gives me so much pride in knowing I am helping people. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime!

Sales Representative at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a Mainer, born and raised in Brewer. After graduation, I started in the workforce as a diamond consultant for Service Merchandise.  Five years later, I started in the automotive industry as a sales representative for a local Connecticut dealership.  My next adventure began with my wife and I moving back to Maine to raise our family. I spent the next twelve years visiting all 48 state parks with my family and working in finance and sales at a local dealership. I found my second home at Darling's in 2020, where I began as a sales representative.

My home is Bucksport, where I live with my wife, Jen, our two children, Lily and Wynn, and our dog, Ellie Mae. Ellie Mae can be a bit of a handful, as a very large Old English Mastiff.  I am incredibly proud of my wife, who has become the education director at the Challenger Learning Center.  Our lives are hectic, but I always find time for my family. I currently volunteer as a fill-in pastor for my local church and scout volunteer for my kiddos. Outside the office, I most enjoy spending time with family, fishing, and reading.

I love working for Darling's. The difference is their dedication to community giveback. This dedication drives me to give the best customer experience. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Katie Seavey
Office Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

My story began in Eastbrook, Maine. I was born and raised here and eventually found my way to a temp job at Darling's in January of 2003 as a Receptionist. Not long after I was hired full time as Office Manager

I now live in Ellsworth with my two dogs and two chickens. The dogs, Silas and Charlie were both rescues and have found their forever happy place at my home. When I'm not at home I can be found at  Crossfit Breakwater or beaching it anywhere there is water. Crossfit has been a great driver for me to progress quickly at the gym and take out a bit of my competitive nature, it was one of those things I'd always wanted to do but was scared. Once I had the courage to take the first step it was an instant love. I can weirdly enough say I love burpees.

At the dealership I tend to be known as the woman with the answers. I try and facilitate a good flow of information to make sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoy giving back to the community by facilitating bi-annual blood drives at the dealership. I've been here for many years and consider Darling's part of my family, down to earth and incredibly caring. I would love to try and answer any questions you may have, I may not always have the answer but I will do my best to figure it out.

Team Service Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a proud Mainer, living in Steuben Maine. I Grew up in Lamoine and made my life in the splendor of Downeast, Maine. Before starting at Darling's I most recently worked in the glamorous field of plumbing. For 10 years I worked in sales and warranties at F.W. Webb. Darling's was a new start for me as my kids were all grown up I decided it was time for me!

I finished my B.A. in Social Science with a minor in Behavioral Science from U.M.A and knew this was my time to shine! Darling's was a perfect fit for me and the next chapter of my life.  I have two awesome kiddos that are all grown up now. My daughter is a CNA and my son rates music, pretty proud of them. My home is a little calmer now and it has become my happy place outside the dealership. Here I enjoy being a home body cooking, reading and spending time with my huskies! My huskies, Copper, Belle, and Doc comfort me when reading mystery novels, my favorite being Stephen King. When I do get out of the house I go to the beaches of Maryland for my yearly family summer trip.

I do enjoy Darling's and consider the dealership my second family. The service side of the car industry is all about the customer experience. The atmosphere of family transcends to the customers, something you don't see at most places. It's this atmosphere that drives me because a happy customer is a job well done at the end of the day. If you need help with that silly key fob or any vehicle questions feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Andy Buzzell
Team Service Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

My knack became a passion and I started as a vehicle technician after graduation. I started as a vehicle technician in the late 1980's working on automobiles, over the road trucks and heavy equipment. In the 1990's I moved to parts sales with Bean and Conquest and eventually service with Quirk Auto. Today I find my home in service working for Darling's Automall for 18 years and counting.

Outside the service world, I started my family about 27 years ago with my amazing wife. We've grown together with a son, 6 grandchildren, and a golden retriever named Tucker. We love spending time together, adventuring and hiking. When I'm not with my family I enjoy spending time with my community as a lifetime member of the Orrington Rod and Gun Club and current Vice President. In fact, I'm proudly an International Benchrest Competitor.

Besides this, I've always liked music, mostly rock and blues. My latest adventure has been learning to design/build acoustic guitars.

No matter the adventure I'd still say I'm a bit of a fixer at work. Darling's has always taken care of me and my family. I feel appreciated for my work and that what's make it worth it. This care is what I give to every customer that walks in for service.

I consider every customer like family, and like family I will do my best to be the trusted family fixer upper. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Team Service Manager at Darling's Auto Mall

Growing up in Ellsworth my family was my world, and so I stayed in this great community. I grew up with the drive that everyday I would provide the best life for my family. I had various jobs in the car business, but not one I loved so much as the dealership side of things. Over 20 years ago I started working at car dealerships, starting at Morrison's Chevrolet in Ellsworth, Maine as a salesman. I spent about 13 years as a salesman and moved to the service side of things as a Team Service Manager at Van Syckle Kia in Bangor. In 2014 I joined the Darling's team at their Honda location. Then in 2016 I made the move back to Ellsworth as a Team Service Manager.

I'm a big fan of GM having owned 9 vehicles and counting, so working for a GM dealership made sense to me. I trust the brand and proud to help GM owners new and old daily.

Though my kiddos are all grown up they are still what drives me. I have a son, Darian, and a daughter, Emma, who are now in college. I'm super proud of them and all they have accomplished. Though they are out of the house now my home is filled with a rambunctious yellow lab named Ruger and my wonderful wife, Tammie. At home we cheer on the New England Patriots, work on DIY home improvement projects, enjoy time around the fire pit, and travel to Bar Harbor Campground for our bi-annual family adventure. When I'm not around the house I like to play pool with friends and family alike.

I'm a bit of a people person, who likes to strike up a conversation with just about everyone. This helps as a service manager because it allows me time to listen and understand customer service needs. I want to get to know all my service customers because we all have a story to tell. Darling's as a company doesn't treat its employees as numbers, but people, people with stories to tell. The owner knows my story and from day one I felt like part of the Darling's family. In the same way, I want to treat every customer from day one as part of the family. Feel free to reach out to me anytime to keep your vehicle serviced and keep your life story moving forward.

  • Jamie Moore
Lead Counter Person at Darling's Auto Mall

Automobiles are in my blood. I was born in Cherryfield until my family moved to Lamoine, Maine. I grew up in the auto industry with a loving family of car painters. I landed a job painting cars for awhile in my early years. About 30 years ago I changed it up and moved to a Parts Counter Person in Ellsworth.

Though buildings and dealerships have changed since I started, from Linnehan's, to Dow Motors, Triangle Automotive and Darling's one thing has stayed the same, the people. I've been pretty lucky to work with such great people and customers in Ellsworth. One brand I can count on in GM and Chrysler, I'm proud to be certified in GM and Chrysler to provide quality parts to people. Most of the time I focus on selling wholesale parts to collision shops all over.

On my off time I like to spend time with the most friendly cat in the world, Mabel, named after my mother. I'm also an active supporter of Relay For Life. Everyone has someone they know who has been affected by cancer, me too. For about 10 years I've participated in Relay for Life and helped raise about $25,000 for cancer research, that's one proud Mabel. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle and going upta my family camp at Schoodic. Since about the 60's my family has known how to relax with no electricity and an outhouse, just nature. When I'm not feeling like relaxing I'm a big fan of live concerts from Journey, to Metallica, Daughtry and even Fall Out Boy, if it has a good beat I'm in!

My co-workers including Everett are some of the BEST parts people I know.

We are proud to serve our customers and make sure YOU are treated right, feel free to call anytime.

Parts Consultant at Darling's Auto Mall

I'm a Mainer, born and raised in beautiful Hancock, Maine. Like most "Downeasters" I had my experience with the lobster industry with my first job at a lobster pound in high school. After graduation I followed my passion for automobiles and pursued automotive vocational training. Though I loved automobiles I soon learned my preference was working the front end of service instead of the mechanic side. I worked the service side for a little while at various places around Ellsworth and eventually landed a job at a Morrison's Chevrolet.

I began as a Service Writer at Morrison's Chevrolet. Morrison's became Darling's about 6 years ago. I moved from Darling's Chevrolet to Darling's Automall becoming a Parts Consultant.

During all of this I was introduced to my wonderful wife, Lisa. We have been happily married for 34 years and counting! We have 3 grown children, 3 grandkids and currently 3 cats. Outside the dealership, my wife and I take care of 7 rental homes in the Hancock area. This takes a good amount of our free time, but when we do have time we explore Maine in our trusted GM and see where the road takes us.

One thing I love most about Darling's is how it feels like a family. You wouldn't think the owners of the company would know you by name, but they do. Not only that but they get involved in the community and represent us so well.

I'm proud of my Darling's family, anytime you need anything parts related feel free to call me and I'll treat you like a member of the family.

Parts Counter Person at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a proud "Downeaster" born, raised, and staying in extraordinary Ellsworth, Maine. In 1997 I started my career at Darling's as part of the Reconditioning team. Eventually, I worked my way from Parts Receiver to Parts Counter Person. It seems like yesterday I started at Darling's, 20 years later I'm proud to say I still LOVE my job. I have an extraordinary team that keeps me laughing everyday, especially James Moore.

For the past 14 years, I've been a Certified Parts advisor for the GM brand. This is one of the parts of my job I love most because I am able to be trained in the latest GM parts and accessories each year. I take great pride in knowing I have the knowledge to find the perfect and correct part for my customers.  I may be a little "GM" eccentric only purchasing GM vehicles. I believe in the quality parts that make up a GM. My current GM is my GMC Terrain, unnamed as of yet.

When I'm not in Parts mode I enjoy my time with my family and pets. I'm lucky enough to call my wonderful girlfriend Tricia, her daughters, Becca and Stephanie, my little family.  One of our favorite activities is hiking beautiful Acadia National Park. I also have two extraordinary pets, a cat named Mouse and a dog named Zeke. Zeke is my "Cow Dog" spotted like a cow and loves to eat grass. My pets and I enjoy watching our favorite Movie Back to the Future or listening to AC DC. I also enjoy biking and traveling, especially Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Recently I joined a bowling league in Brewer to get into shape and have fun with friends.

If you're ever stuck wondering what's that part or do I need that part call me anytime.

Parts Counter Person at Darling's Auto Mall

I am a Mainer, born and raised in the Ellsworth area. During high school, I studied Criminal Justice part-time at Hancock Technical Center. After graduation, I had planned to study forensics; instead, I found a passion for automotive. My first job was at a local parts shop, where I gained valuable experience as a parts counter person. It was my brother, a sales representative, who encouraged me to apply at Darling's. In 2018, I joined the Darling's family as a parts team member.

My home is Franklin now, where I enjoy time with friends and family. I am the youngest in my close-knit family, with an older sister and brother. Outside the office, I love spending time with my father's Labs, watching basketball, and playing guitar. The Warriors and Bulls are my favorite teams. I am also the proud owner of a magma orange 2007 VW GTI Fahrenheit edition.

I found a second family at Darling's, my parts people. Here the team is authentic, truly caring for the customer. I am proud to share my parts experience to care for the people behind the parts. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Scott Polley
Parts Counter Person at Darling's Auto Mall

Hello, I am Scott and I have been in the business since I was just a boy. I grew up in Holden where my father had a transmission shop. When I was just a young kid I was always hanging around the shop with the smell of grease and a knack for what's that part called. I always liked working with my hands and took vocational training including building and construction. After my training I still had a love for parts and started working at Carquest Auto Parts in Bangor, Maine.

One day about 14 years ago my mother recommended me to her friend the Parts Manager at Darling's Ellsworth location. I moved to East Orland and began my career as a Parts Counter Person at Darling's. I've proudly become certified as a Parts Advisor for both GM and Chrysler. This means the world to me as I am able to talk parts with customers and better understand their current needs.

My life isn't all about parts, as much as I like them, but they did bring some great things to my world. After starting at Darling's a co-worker introduced me to Cindy. Cindy and I married about 7 years ago and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Our world revolves around my stepson Hunter, our two dogs Lucy and Dakota and our many chickens. Needless to say we're an animal-loving family, in fact our dogs have Dunkin Donut Sundays where each is allowed 1 glazed donut hole. I'm also an avid certified drone photographer and may be found brushing off my building skills around the area.

I try not to talk too much parts talk, but I love what I do. The people I work with, such as Everett Dorr are incredible parts people and that's the Darling's difference. It's not just parts, it's the people behind the parts.

Feel free to reach out to me anytime to talk parts, drone photography, or construction and I'll be there!

He began as a full time express lube tech where he was able to hone his automotive skills on the job. Selden's desire to improve his skills gained him a promotion to a general line technician. His hard work and continued dedication to learning brought Selden another promotion where he became a transmission technician.

After 24 years as a technician for Darling's Ford VW Audi he decided he would like to become more involved in the day-to-day business of the service department. Beginning as a service writer it wasn't long before Selden was promoted to a team leader position and then to service manager.  In this position Darling's wanted him to gain experience at all locations so he worked in this capacity at the Ellsworth location as well as both Bangor locations. Selden has brought all of his automotive and management experience to Darling's Ford VW Audi and Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo and now oversees both service departments as the Service Director of Bangor Operations.

His interests include farming (he has fainting goats!), mountain biking, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Selden lives with his family in Orrington.

  • Jim Prescott
Sales Manager at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

Jim's career at Darling's spans over 48 years and he has worked in almost every business and building Darling's has owned!

He is a Bangor High School graduate whose working career began directly after high school. Jim even worked up north for short time driving hammer for the Railroad. This job required him to live onsite with the crew because of its rural location. At 17 Jim realized this was not the job for him!

Jim began working at Darling's Rec Division at age 19. For many years he worked with Owen Darling, founder of Darling's, and his son, John Darling, semi-retired, current owner of Darling's Family of Businesses. The Rec Division held such franchises as Triumph motorcycles as well as Kawasaki and Yamaha. They also sold boats and motorhomes. Jim became manager of the Rec Division at its Center Street location. The Rec Division moved to a new building on Center Street before moving into a brand new building on the Griffin Road. The Griffin Road building also became home to a new Datsun automobile franchise. Datsun was eventually bought out by Nissan and the Rec Division was relocated to a building on the Perry Road. Wanting a building that was more conducive to an automobile dealership Darling's built a new building on the Sylvan Road for the Nissan franchise. Jim managed the Sylvan Road location for many years and helped to facilitate the expansion of the dealership and the addition of the Honda and Volvo franchises.

Jim's knowledge of the Honda, Nissan, and Volvo products makes him a great liaison for our sales staff and our customers. We appreciate all of his historical knowledge too!

He loves spending time with his family and enjoys being at his camp on Beech Hill Pond as much as possible. Jim and his wife, Terri, live in Orrington.

My good friend, Karen French encouraged me to look at Darling's. I gave Darling's a shot not long after starting as a Sales Representative.

Sales Representative at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

Kathy is a graduate of Stearns High School in Millinocket. She attended the University of Maine and earned an associate's degree in business management.

Kathy began working for Maine Course Hospitality Group and Ground Round IOC and remained there for 21 years. During that time Kathy managed the Muddy Rudder in Brewer while also travelling all over the US as Ground Rounds Front of House lead trainer for new restaurant openings.  Due to a change in their business plan the Muddy Rudder was sold. Kathy continued to work with Ground Round IOC on new restaurant openings, but realized being away for over a month was too much for her family.  She accepted another similar position locally but was dissatisfied with their level of commitment to customer and employee satisfaction. Her husband has worked with Geoff Johnson, General Manager of Darling's Honda Nissan, over the years on some building projects so when Geoff told her husband he wanted her to call Kathy says she laughed at the thought of selling cars, but said why not. The rest is history. She says it's nice to be working for a company that makes its customers a priority.

Kathy loves going to the theatre and enjoys gardening, kayaking, and reading.

  • Ryan Tesseo
Sales Representative at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I am a born and raised Mainer from Orrington, Maine. After graduation, I studied business at EMCC and Husson University. Darling's has always been a part of my world, as my father continues to work for the company. My father taught me that to learn the most about the dealership, you have to understand all aspects of it. Taking his advice, I started working in the Ford Service Department in 2013 as an Assistant Team Service Manager. I continued to learn about the service side at our Augusta and Ellsworth dealerships until 2018. In 2018, I began my journey as a sales representative at Darling's Honda.

My home is Hermon now where I live with my other half, Elizabeth. When I am not at the dealership, I love spending time with my family. In the summer, we enjoy time outside whether boating or just hanging out. One of my favorite summer activities is spending time with my dad riding his vintage motorcycle. In the winter, I most enjoy my time on the ice. Hockey has been a big part of my life and I enjoy giving back as a volunteer for the Adult Learn to Skate Learn to Play Program.  I also enjoy playing on a local Men's League Hockey team.

In my family, I was taught to be genuine and to treat everyone like family. These values are what I find at Darling's and I always have someone who listens and is there to help me succeed. Darling's genuinely cares for their community and their employees. I always want to give the same kindness back to my customers. Feel free to reach out anytime; I am here to listen and find the best vehicle for your needs.

  • Sam Jones
Sales Representative at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in West Virginia. After graduation, I adventured for a year to Australia, designing and manufacturing custom signage. When I returned to the States, I followed my passion for vehicles at a local shop in West Virginia where I worked in service as a team service manager and sales representative.

Not long after, I started my own construction company with a high school friend on Long Island. But the New York atmosphere was not for me, so I took another leap and moved to Maine. While my Honda was in for service, I found the experience of Darling's was unlike any dealership. The team convinced me in 2019 to join the family as a sales representative.

My home is Orono now, where I live with my girlfriend. Outside the office, I love modifying trucks, hunting, fishing, outdoor exploring and watching Formula One racing.  One of my favorite projects was turning a 1999 Explorer into a rock crawler which enabled my friends and me to go on many exciting (and sometimes harrowing) off-road escapades.

I love the atmosphere at Darling's. For both employees and customers, this is a place of great caring.  Everyone deserves the best customer experience in finding the perfect vehicle, and that is what I strive to do! Feel free to reach out anytime!

Though I am not a born Mainer, I am happy to be a transplant! I grew up in upstate New York. After graduation, I served in the Navy for four years. After the Navy, I grew in many different fields with one similar factor, Customer Service. Along my journey, I was an electrician, an insurance adjuster, an environmental trainer and even owned a business. I would like to say I have been helping people since 1987. Before coming to Darling's I was working at Lowes and desired to work for a Maine family owned business who cared. Finding a place at Darling's Honda, I began as a Sales Representative in 2019.

Sales Representative at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in South Bend, Indiana, I became one of the "Fighting Irish," after graduating with a BA in Irish Literature from the University of Notre Dame in 1998.  Upon graduation, I moved to Austin, Texas where I worked in the tech industry. After ten years I followed my creative side and moved to Seattle where I worked as a freelance writer a number of years.

I started grant writing for the University of Notre Dame which led to a decade's worth of work in fundraising and development in the Non-Profit Sector culminating with work for various groups and initiatives in Washington DC.

In 2016, I joined a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Baltimore, Maryland, with the belief that it would be easier to sell a thing rather than idea and fell in love with the Auto Industry. My journey brought me to Maine in 2019 when my fiancé was offered a position in the cardiac ICU of EMMC. After careful research Darling's stood out as an employer whose focus on their employees, customers and community was beyond compare in the area.

Currently I reside in Winterport, ME, with my fiancé, our Newfoundland Ronan, and cat Eileen FitzCatric, Destroyer of Worlds. We continue to enjoy exploring local vineyards, restaurants and antique shops.

My goal is always to provide my customers with access to the Auto Industry on their terms and at their pace. Darling's commitment to the customer experience and community service gives customers access to more than just a vehicle. They support their customers with insurance, service, parts and more. This makes the difference. It's no longer about selling a vehicle, it's about caring. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

Team Service Manager at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I am a Mainer, born and raised between Millinocket and Brewer. After graduation, I served in the United States Air Force for 12 years. During this time, I also received my Bachelors in Communications/Marketing from the University of Southern Maine and my Associates degree in Aerospace Maintenance Technology. After my military service, I became a manager at Enterprise in Portland, Maine.

At Enterprise, I learned a valuable lesson about my future career: I did not want to be at a desk all day. My next chapter led me to a more hands-on career in the automotive industry. I became a Service Writer in both New Hampshire and New Orleans. My wife and I needed a change of pace and decided our future was in Maine to raise our family. In 2018, I found my Darling's family and started as a Team Service Manager.

My family is my world. Our little family includes my wife Liz, our son Liam and cat Dexter. Both Dexter and Liam keep us busy and entertained most every day. Dexter is particularly mischievous and fits his name very well.  Music is my passion and was in a band for many years as a guitarist and vocalist. One of my most precious guitars is my 1973 Martin. I also enjoy golf, basketball, camping and motorcycles.

I am proud to be a part of the Darling's family. Dealerships I worked with in the past only cared about the bottom line. At Darling's it is about the people. Darling's truly cares for its customers and employees. For me, like family, I want to be there for my customers. It is my goal that every customer leaves service comfortable and confident in their vehicle. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Mike was a sous chef for 11 years and during this time he met and worked with his soon to be wife.  Eventually getting back into the automotive industry Mike gained experience as an outside sales person as well as a service writer.

Mike had an opportunity to meet Jay Darling one day when he was working on a crew that was installing a dock at Jay's camp. He was impressed that Jay took the time to be there and to help. When a job opening was posted for a team service manager at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo he applied. We are happy to have Mike on our team and with all of his experience we know our service customers are being well taken care of!

He loves coaching little league baseball, and enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Mike resides in Old Town with his family.

  • Andrea Morin
TSM Assistant at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I am a proud Mainer, growing up in Saint Agatha, Maine.  Growing up, I dreamed of a career in the automotive industry.  My career started in high school where I attended St. John Valley Tech for automotive.  I continued my education working at Gerard Chasse Garage in St. Agatha as an intern. I moved to the big city of Bangor where I worked at Marden's until 2018. In 2018, I continued my automotive dreams starting as an assistant TSM at Darling's Honda.

My home is Levant now, where I live with my husband and our cat named Mittens. I love spending time with my family, especially time with my 8 nieces and nephews. My husband and I also love to adventure, finding waterfalls wherever we can, hiking or hunting in the Allagash. We also love car shows, especially ones where I can find my favorite 1966 Chevrolet C10 or a 1969 Shelby Fastback.

I am most proud of the community giveback of Darling's. As an employee, I try support and giveback whenever possible to the same community organizations. My biggest giveback is for Breast Cancer Awareness, holding a special place in my heart.

Darling's is a special place filled with incredible people. I enjoy the support team in service who give me the opportunity to learn and grow each day. Darling's is truly family oriented, caring for every employee. This sense of family is what I give back to my customers. My goal is that a customer leaves with a smile and a feeling of honesty, knowing I took care of their every automotive need. Feel free to reach out anytime.

TSM Assistant at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I am a Mainer, born and raised in Lowell, Maine. Growing up, I had a passion for luxury vehicles. I followed this passion and my mother to my first job after graduation as a valet in Florida. My journey took me back to Maine in 2018 when I started at Darling's as a TSM Assistant. I had always trusted Darling's to take care of my Volvo vehicles and knew this was my kind of service team.

My home is Brewer now, where I enjoy my time with vehicles. Outside the dealership, I love working on my Volvo, Saab or PT Cruiser. I love working on most vehicles, but always seem to fall back to my trusted Volvo. My current and third Volvo is a 2001 XC70 Cross Country. The Volvo that started it all was a 1993 Volvo 850 sedan followed by a 2005 XC7 Cross Country.

I love my Darling's family. At work, I am surrounded by Volvos and great coworkers. My experience has given me a broader knowledge of how to best service Volvo, Honda and Nissan vehicles. I am proud to share my vehicle knowledge with our service customers every day. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Jill Bemis
TSM Assistant at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I was born and raised in Levant, Maine.  During high school, I attended Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, studying data processing. After graduating from Hermon High School, I began work on the operations side of banking for five years. My next five-year adventure was working on the real estate side of Eaton Peabody. Before finding my home at Darling's in 2018, I worked at U.S. Cellular in Bangor for 20 years.

My home is Levant now where I live with my mom, her two dogs and a Flame Point Siamese cat named Pete. I also have a grown daughter who works and lives in Bangor. Outside the office, I love camping, fishing and traveling. My favorite travel spot is anywhere where there is a beach and the weather is warm. I often travel to Florida a few times a year to beat the Maine winter.

Darling's was a new adventure in my world after 20 years at the same job. I needed a change and found a family at Darling's.  Here the people are kind and work is fun! I want to share this feeling with my customers. It is my job to ensure our customers know they are important to us and I hope to welcome everyone to the family. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Jim Lewis
TSM Assistant at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

I was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. After graduation, I joined the United States Marine Corps. For 29 years, I served all over the world. I was last stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina before moving closer to family in Hillsborough, New Hampshire. In New Hampshire, I worked at a local Chevrolet dealership as service manager. After 14 years, another change was in store, moving to Bangor, Maine in 2019.  Shortly after, I started at Darling's as a TSM Assistant.

My home is Winterport now where I live with my wonderful wife. Our life is filled with family and many pets. We enjoy our time with our two cats named Tabby and Chloe, a beagle terrier mix named Bella, tropical fish and three coops full of chickens. Outside the dealership, I like working on small equipment, gardening and cheering on my favorite sports teams. Even though I grew up in Florida, I have always been a fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Alabama College Football.

I am proud to work at Darling's, where they truly take care of their people. Alongside my teammates, I enjoy fixing vehicle issues and, most importantly, helping the customer. Often times corporate America seems to forget the customer Darling's does not. They are a local company that cares for their community. They are unique in their business because of the services offered beyond vehicle sales. Darling's gives customers service, insurance, rental and parts options, ensuring support for every vehicle need. It is this support I give back to my customers each day. It is more than service; it is making sure customers are taken care of. Feel free to reach out anytime.

I am a born and raised Mainer, originally from Old Town. One of my first jobs was for Darling's working full time as a Parts Counter Person, while also working part time at Wendy's in Orono. In September 2015 after about six month of two jobs, I gladly continued with Darling's as a full time Parts Counter Person.

We love our adventures together, especially our time on the coast. Bar Harbor is one of our favorite locations to adventure as a family.

My Darling's family is also very special. Here I know I am valued by everyone at the company; I am more than just an employee. I am a part of the family. This down-to-earth experience is what I want to give back to my customers. Parts knowledge is just as important as treating my customers like family. Please feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Romie Doucette
Parts Counter Person at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo

Romie is a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School. He worked locally until his enlistment in the US Army. After his stint in the military Romie began working in the automotive industry at a local parts store. One of Romie's parts jobs was actually at a satellite store owned by a formerly owned Darling's company, Parts Wholesalers.

Having heard about Romie's skills and work ethic our service/parts manager at the time reached out to him to see if he was interested in coming to work at Darling's. We are pleased to say he accepted the job and has been serving our parts customers since 1995!

Romie says the Darling's family is top shelf - great people to work for and that's why he's been with the company for 23 years!
