We're all vacationing a little closer to home this year, so we're excited to share our Darling's Day Trips! We'll be sharing some of our favorite spots to visit this summer - all right in Maine, so you can grab the family and jump in your vehicle and go!

We always recommend making sure you are prepared with proper footwear, a full tank of gas, and making sure your vehicle is in tip-top shape. Have fun while you're adventuring and enjoying our beautiful summer!

Fort Knox

Located approximately 35 minutes from Bangor in Bucksport, this fort played a part in Maine's history. It is America's first fort and Maine's largest historic fort. It continues to be maintained by Friends of Fort Knox.  Click to read more!
