Women soak up car knowledge offered at Bangor dealership ...

BANGOR - The Darling's Ford dealership on the Hogan Road in Bangor was transformed into a sea of pink last Wednesday for its first ever "Women & Wheels" event. The gathering was a chance to arm females with some automotive knowledge they could use when shopping for or servicing their vehicle.

Darling's Dealership Goes Pink!

Darling's Women & Wheels, the first of many events planned for women, took place at Darling's Ford VW Audi on Wednesday, October 12th. Over 120 women joined us for wine, cheese, chocolates and cupcakes as well as automotive tips and information to help them feel informed and empowered about getting the most from their vehicles. 

Great door prizes included gift certificates to many area restaurants, a gift basket from Shaklee and our grand prize, a spa day for you and your car from Darling's & Anthony John's Day Spa.

The event was such a huge success that it has spawned a new series of workshops specifically for women. The first such event will be our hands-on tire workshop on November 16gth which will teach you how to change a tire in a pinch, how to measure pressure and tread wear and how to spot signs of abnormal or excessive wear.
